Terms & Conditions

Parent Agreement: You must agree to the following in order to join the Angels Initiative Ltd. Failure to adhere to these agreements can result in your child being dismissed from the Company. Agreement of these Terms and Conditions are taken as your acceptance to all. Please contact us at info@theangelsacademies.com if your agreement cannot be met.

I will...

·      Commit to my child attending every class, competition and event AND on time.  If under any special circumstances that this cannot be the case, I will communicate in advance (before they are late), to my child’s coach or Team Representative.

·      Make ALL payments on-time and if I will not be able to do so, will email Angels Staff before a payment is already late with an update.  I understand that non-payment will eventually result in my child being withdrawn from the programme and that a charge of £5 will be added if fees remain unpaid on the 1st of the following month.

·      Encourage my child to know and practice their routine.  And will push to ensure that their schoolwork is completed so that they may also dedicate time to complete any homework set by coaches.

·      Realise that Cheerleading is a team sport and that without my child attending practice it affects the rest of her team, so I will support and make every effort for her to achieve 100% attendance.

·      Under special circumstances where my child is unable to attend practice, e.g. sickness, I will make sure I communicate effectively to their coach/Team Representative in advance and seek to find out what my athlete has missed so they may practice at home in time for their next class.  I understand that there are no refunds or reimbursements for absences.

·       I agree to give 101% effort to my child’s success and participation within the programme.  This includes using the correct communication methods, adhering to this contract, adhering to our Code of Conduct, obeying the requirements set and being organised. Also having integrity and other ‘ways of being’ that would assist in the development and progression of my child within the organisation.

·       I agree to empower my child by not giving up easily on their dream of being a cheerleader.  It is OK for them to change their mind but I will firstly exhaust all possible ways of encouraging their continuation by not being ‘stopped’ when things get difficult.

·      I understand that my child can be removed from a team at any point, at the Team Coaches or Head Coaches discretion. That reasons will be given for any removal and a position on a team is not promised or guaranteed. The Angels Initiative is not obliged to refund monies paid for/by athletes who are dismissed from the programme and Try Out results will not be announced with previous outstanding fees.

Subscription notes:

The Angels Academies classes run in accordance with school term time. Your payment plan covers all fees for the year minus the weeks off for half terms. These fees are split into 11 monthly payments, September to July inclusive, therefore fees are still due during term holidays. These fees are taken out on the 1st of every month. CANCELLATIONS- If an athlete does not wish to continue with their class, or wishes to amend the day or time of their class, please email info@theangelsacademies.com. If you have underpaid then a cover charge will be added to your final subscription payment to collect class fees owed. Classes cannot be transferred, offered as credit or be refunded once you have cancelled. Exception- if cancelled before the 15th of the month, then half the monthly fee will be refunded. Payments will unfortunately not be refunded for cancellations beyond our control for e.g. centre closures or adverse weather conditions. JOINING MID-MONTH- If an athlete joins one of our classes mid-month, a cover payment for these classes will be added to their next payment due on the 1st of the following month. Any monies paid for Trial sessions will first be deducted. To work out the cost for the weeks remaining, the total cost for the month will be divided by the number of weeks in that month. SIBLINGS- If you have siblings attending our classes, you will not pay full price for each individual (unless it’s the Home Ed class). You will be informed of your new total cost after booking.

Information: The Angels Initiative is fully insured for our athletes. Coaches/volunteers, are not left alone with athletes unless they have been fully DBS checked. We operate an Equal Opportunities Policy, Code of Conduct and an Anti Bullying Policy. All of our Policies and Procedures are available on request.

The Angels Initiative Ltd has a website and members may be videoed or photographed whilst in our presence. This material may be used in any promotional or marketing activities undertaken by the Angels Initiative – which may include Facebook, You Tube and other social media as we see fit- unless we are advised in writing to the contrary.

Parental Consent: I understand that like any sport, there is a risk of injury in vigorous athletic activity. Our/My child is in good health and physically capable of participating as part of The Angels Academies Ltd.

Medication: We will not administer general medication, only in an emergency. It will be the parent's responsibility to come into class to administer general medication if needed. If a child is unwell, they should not be attending sessions until they are physically fit. If they have been in hospital for a period of time a doctors note may be required to say that they are well enough to participate, as the activities can be quite vigorous and could cause further harm.

If a child under 18 requires an Epipen or something similar, this should be kept in their bag at every practice. Once they are old enough, they should be taught how to administer this themselves for their own comfort. Please provide a detailed letter for any child who may need us to use an Epipen or something similar on them. Explaining at which point you'd like us to administer this, how and anything else you feel we should know.

Refund Policy: I understand that there is a no refund policy for cancelled or missed bookings. This is because costs including rent and staff cover are worked out on the number of bookings we receive and your cancellation results in staff and rent still needing to be paid. We suggest that cancellations are made the last class of the month, before the next month fee charge kicks in. Exception- if cancelled before the 15th of the month, then half the monthly fee will be refunded.

Coronavirus: If cancellations are made because of Covid-19, We will move classes online initially before cancelling payments. Then you will be kept informed regarding what will happen thereon.

Declaration: If I am not present or reachable, as the parent or guardian to the member named above I agree to them receiving medication as instructed, emergency dental, medical or surgical treatment as considered necessary by the professional present.
